Jamie has been working with Bret since January of 2018, learning his system and methods with an emphasis on program design. She keeps up with the scientific literature to ensure her clients have cutting edge research as the backbone of their programs. She works with both experienced clients who are aiming to optimize their physique, and working diligently with beginners to ensure they have a firm understanding of the process of reaching their fitness goals.
She completed her bachelors degree at Central Connecticut State University in Exercise Science (2016) and her masters degree at California State University at San Marcos in Kinesiology (2020). During her time completing her masters degree, she conducted research on the physiological response to high intensity interval training (HIIT) in sedentary women and authored published papers in Clinical Physiology and Functional Imaging and the European Journal of Applied Physiology. She is currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
